    The nature of ioization radiation; sources, effects; terminology and properties, electricity, voltage, amperage, AC, DC, X-Ray Production

     

    WEEK 2:  To Be Annonced - 9:00 a.m. - 12:00 Noon

      Ionizing radiations and their effect on tissue; radiation health and safety for the patient and operator; MPD, tissue sensitivity

      WEEK 3: To Be Announced - 9:00 a.m. - 12:00 Noon

        The dental film and processing - automatic and manual, infection control procedures for exposing and processing. Intraoral and Extraoral films

        WEEK 4: To Be Announced - 9:00 a.m. - 12:00 Noon 

          Radiographic anatomy, mounting; interpretation of radiographs, their errors and correction

          WEEK 5: To Be Announced - 8:30 - 12:00 Noon

            Comparison of BA and Paralleling Techniques. Sit the practice exam and correct. Wrap up and Course Evaluation
