INFECTION CONTROL EXAM PREP COURSE

This “theory-only” course has been specifically designed to provide dental healthcare workers, with AT LEAST SIX MONTHS OF EXPERIENCE IN DENTISTRY, an opportunity to learn theoretical concepts of Infection Control according to OSHA, CDC Guidelines and other national standards for the safe practice of dentistry. Additionally, this course prepares the DHCW with preparation for the DANB Infection Control Examination. (See bottom of page for Official Dental Assisting National Board Information)

The course meets for THREE weeks, 3 hours per week and requires the commitment of the applicant to:

Attend every class

Complete weekly assignments

Review/Study lecture notes between classes

Utilize the internet
