In order to receive the maximum benefit of the course, the applicant should have a working knowledge of infection control as it applies to denistry. At least six months of dental assisting experience is preferred but NOT required. The course is designed for ANY AND ALL dental healthcare workers who desire to learn more about infection control. Listed below are some examples of recommendened topics that would be helpful for the individual to be familar with in the dental environment.
